BuchenSkatvalForbord Dome
Forbord Dome is an exclusive glamping experience for two people in the heart of nature. You can sleep under the stars, enjoy the panoramic view over the Trondheimsfjorden, catch a magical sunset or see the fantastic northern lights if you're lucky. The dome is a full 23 square meters with a window in the roof and in the front and it is placed on a terrace on two levels with a seating area and fire pit. There are many great hiking opportunities in the area, how about a trip to the top of Forbordsfjellet? The dome is centrally located approx. 10 minutes from Trondheim Airport Værnes in Stjørdal and approx. 40 min. from Trondheim. The dome is placed by itself in the hillside up towards Forbordsfjellet, approx. 300 m.a.s.l and is open all year around. There are two parking options and the distance from parking to the dome is from 600-1500 meters depending on parking/route. You walk on a forest road from the car park to get all the way to the dome. In the dome there is a king-size double bed and a seating area for two people. There is plenty of heat in the dome (wood stove/diesel heater), but we recommend bringing warm clothes on cold days. You don't have to leave the dome to go to the bathroom, it has a separate room with a toilet. You are welcome to bring a dog or other pets, but due to allergies, these cannot be inside the dome. We do have a great dog house outside though. There is 10 liters of drinking water in the dome on arrival, otherwise little access to clean drinking water. You also have access to a primus and two saucepans for easy cooking. Remember that the primus must be used outdoors. There is also a grill grate for the brazier that can be used for grilling. Free access to tea and coffee.

Avoid Aas - Antiquarian
Unnveig Aas has sung her way into the hearts of many with her striking voice and distinctive musical expression in recent years. With almost four albums released, one of which (Young Heart, 2019) was nominated for Spellemann in the Country category, we can say that Unnveig is well established as a musician in this country! Her latest EP "Amused By A Muse" came out in the fall of 2025, and has received praise and a list spot on NRK P3 Musikk. More music is coming in 2026! Aas has played concerts all over Norway, as well as Germany, Sweden and Denmark. She is known for making the audience dance, cry and laugh. The music is full of contrasts. It is quiet and contained, but also at times catchy and danceable. With inspiration from country, pop, rock and folk, she experiments with open guitar tunings and synths and creates a sound that stands out in the Norwegian music scene. Aas is also an author and has published two poetry collections. Her lyrics are poetic and painful and are performed in a heartfelt way. About "Amused By A Muse": "Bittersweet, painful and stunningly beautiful" - Kristin Winsents, Music Director NRK P3 Music "Among the best Norwegian releases of the year" - Popklikk.no "(...) songs that will probably both comfort you and tear you to shreds" - GAFFA Norway - Malm10.09.2026 - 19.09.2026
Eplene i Messehagen
The Musical Theatre Production Eplene i Messehagen (The Apples in the Messe Garden) From internal songs shared among friends to performing for thousands of enthusiastic Trønders, this group has experienced more than they ever imagined. With hits like Panzerfylla, Læven, and Apparatet, the band brings an evening of energy and atmosphere! But wait – that’s a different event. Let’s focus on the musical theatre piece: Eplene i Messehagen is a musical theatre production that explores the tensions between mine workers and management, broken dreams, class divides – all wrapped in humour and powerful music. Have you seen it? Heard the music? Been to Malm? Now’s your chance to experience Eplene i Messehagen – whether for the first time or once again. Since its premiere in 2008, this acclaimed production has been seen and heard by over 35,000 audience members. The mining history of Malm is told through themes of class, love, and hope – with a generous dose of humour and unforgettable music. Written and composed by Rasmus Rohde, this is musical theatre of a rare kind. The Title The name refers to the apple trees in the garden of Messa, the director’s residence at Fosdalens Bergverk, which operated the mine in Malm from 1906. No workers were allowed inside until 1980, though local youth often snuck into the garden to steal apples. Rasmus Rohde Rasmus Rohde wrote both the lyrics and music for Eplene i Messehagen. The script is inspired by company newsletters from Fosdalens Bergverk and interviews with mine workers and locals from Malm. The story is not a documentary, but a fictional narrative based on events that could have happened. Rasmus is a musician, lyricist, composer, and playwright. He studied music and history and is a trained screenwriter from the Norwegian Film School in Lillehammer. Messehagen Messehagen is the garden of Messa, a grand villa in Malm that served for many years as the residence of the director of Fosdalens Bergverk. Built in the 1930s, the villa overlooks the Beitstadfjord. The director lived there until 1946, and in the early 1950s, the house was converted into a company residence. The large property included fruit trees and a private tennis court. Each year, company officials were invited to Christmas gatherings at Messa, but workers were never allowed inside. It wasn’t until the 1980s that ordinary people saw the interior. Messa was located on the east side of the Ressem River, across from Ressemlia, where company officials lived in elegant detached houses – nicknamed “Latterlia” (Laughter Hill). On the other side of the river, workers lived in Malmlia, an area known locally as “Korea.” While housewives in Korea shopped at local stores, some of the officials’ wives were chauffeured to Trondheim for exclusive shopping trips. Around 1960, the director paid about NOK 80 in rent for the villa and earned NOK 15,000 more annually than the Prime Minister. A Community Shaped by Mining Mining deeply influenced the local community. In the 1950s, record numbers were employed at the mine, bringing strong tax revenues to the village. A modern school and new community centre were built, and cultural life flourished. At the mine’s 50th anniversary in 1956, a festive dinner for 1,400 people was held in a giant tent at the school grounds, with Norwegian entertainment legend Leif Juster among the performers. Today, the director’s villa is privately owned. No one lives there, but it is occasionally used for events. Presented by: Gruveteater - BuchenTrondheim27.08.2026
The Other End
The Other End is part of a wave of up-and-coming indie and Americana artists in Norway. In 2023, they made their debut with the album The Sun Will Do You Good, They Said, which received rave reviews in the Norwegian press. Dagbladet gave it a 6, calling it a "sensational debut." Last year, The Other End returned with the album Core Values. Popklikk named the album the best Norwegian release of 2025. Musikknyheter called it “.. one of the best Norwegian albums of the fall.” They also played a support concert at Moskus, which was one of last year’s most pleasant surprises! The single Peeking Over the Top was A-listed on NRK P3 Musikk throughout the fall and was even the most played song on Stjernepose on P3 Musikk that season. Core Values is about being caught between roles, always a little in the wrong place. Inspired by UX designers with rap careers, haiku poets with laptop bags and bank jobs, artists balancing creativity and everyday life. The Other End has already played at Øyafestivalen, SXSW (Austin, Texas), New Colossus Festival (New York), as well as a number of concerts in Norway and abroad. The duo consists of Ida Knoph-Solholm and Alexander Breidvik. The concert is a mix of sitting and standing, if you want to sit you should get there early. No seat reservations! - BuchenTrondheim09.09.2026
Addison Johnson
Addison Johnson (US) North Carolina /Nashville-Tennessee Look forward to an evening of honest country. We've had Addison spin a few times now on the player, and the songs just get better and better. Check it out wherever you listen to music. The album "Dangerous Men" and the single from last year "Maybe I'm lonely too" are recommended. Born and raised in the home of the "Moonshiners" - the Blueridge Mountains in North Carolina - Addison's Songs bring an honest and society reflecting style of Country Music with it. Different than other musicians' careers, Addison was not born within a musicians' family. Already at a young age, he decided by himself to make a living out of Country Music – moved to Nashville alone with only a couple of bucks in his pocket. After a very rough start and an unmatched work-ethic, he managed to get touring the USA from east to west coast every year since. The hard life of a young touring artist formed not only his down to earth character, but also his view of real life in today's society. His outstanding talent of songwriting is nowadays well respected within the industry and so is not only his own music growing, but also his international fanbase! The concert is a mix of sitting and standing, if you want to sit you should get there early. No seat reservations! - BuchenTrondheim26.02.2026 - 26.11.2026

Ingrid Bjørnov takes the piano
Ingrid Bjørnov is finally back with her own stage show. This time in an electric version, and with her own band. Welcome to Bjørnov tar det piano, a full evening where musicality, humor and surprises are in line. From her pioneering days with Dollie de Luxe to five critically acclaimed solo shows on the country's largest stages, she has shown an exceptional ability to excite - and has become one of Norway's most beloved entertainers. With wit, energy and familiarity with the piano, she creates moments that touch both the laugh muscles and the heart. Now she is ready to take it all a notch further. In Bjørnov tar det piano, the audience meets an artist who is bigger, rawer and more electric than ever. What happens when Bjørnov not only plays, but also dances with his piano remains to be seen. However, one thing is certain: this will be an experience no one wants to miss. - BuchenTrondheim24.09.2026 - 25.09.2026

Smokie – The Legacy Tour
🎫Tickets on sale from Friday, October 24th 10:00 Smokie – The Legacy Tour Smokie is now experiencing a new spring, playing in all the biggest and finest arenas, and has fantastic ticket sales. This is the eternally popular band that first broke through in Norway with "If you think you know how to love me" in 1975 and which the following year was on the charts for a full 33 weeks with the smash hit "Living next door to Alice". They continued to deliver big hits and bestsellers until well into the 90s, and they are the band that has been on the VG list the longest, with the Beatles as a good second. Since then, Smokie has almost become part of the Norwegian language. Whether you like them or not, everyone knows who they are and knows some of their songs. They have a large and very loyal audience in large parts of the world. Since recently, bassist Terry Uttley has unfortunately passed away. He has been replaced by Luke Bullard, son of keyboardist Martin Bullard. Luke has been a regular substitute for Terry for the past four years and is therefore already well known to many Smokie fans. Martin Bullard, along with drummer Steve Pinnell, has been in Smokie since 1988. Last year, Mike Craft chose to step down after being the vocalist for 26 years, and he has been replaced by a very good old friend of the band, Pete Lincoln. Pete has been the frontman of famous bands such as Sweet and Sailor, and worked with several big international stars such as Sir Cliff Richard, Tina Turner and Shakin Stevens. Mick McConnell plays guitar and mandolin, and has done so since 1996. This group played their first concerts in Helsingborg and Malmö in November 2021, to two full houses and an enthusiastic audience. Many believe that the band has never been better than it is now. Norway is still one of the countries that means the most to them, and that is why they continue to come back here to meet their enthusiastic audience, year after year. They have sold almost two million records in Norway alone and with them in their luggage they have all the good, old songs, as well as some newer material. - Snåsa27.02.2025 - 23.05.2027
Ruoktot – The Return of Sámi Drums (Saemiene)
Ruoktot – The Return of Sámi Drums is a 50th-anniversary exhibition for The Sámi Collections, established in 1972. Ruoktot is North Sámi for "returning home." Three-dimensional images of five Sámi drums form the core of the exhibition. One of these drums has already been returned to Sápmi, while four others are still awaiting their journey home to be reunited with their people. The travelling exhibition is based on an anniversary exhibition that opened in April 2022 at RiddoDuottarMuseat (RDM) – Sámiid Vuorká-Dávvirat (SVD) in Kárášjohka (Karasjok). It focuses on the repatriation of Sámi drums and marks the transfer of ownership of Anders Poulsen’s gievrie (drum), which had been housed at the museum since 1979, to RDM-SVD in January 2022. The drum was officially repatriated from the National Museum of Denmark in Copenhagen to RDM-SVD. This was a joyous occasion for all those who had worked for decades to bring the drum back into Sámi ownership. The travelling exhibition is a collaboration between Sámi museums: RiddoDuottarMuseat (RDM) – Sámiid Vuorká-Dávvirat (SVD), Ájtte, Árran, Nordlandsmuseet, Saemien Sijte and Siida. It has received support from the Sámi Parliament in Norway and from the Nordic Council of Ministers through Nordic Culture Point. The exhibition opens on 27 February at Saemien Sijte and runs until 23 May. Read more about the exhibition here: RUOKTOT – A Travelling Exhibition
