Hier trifft unberührte Natur auf moderne Ingenieurskunst – und schafft ein Fahrerlebnis der besonderen Art.
Auf 36 Kilometern führt Sie diese wilde Strecke von Kårvåg bei Kristiansund bis ins Fischerdorf Bud – über sieben spektakuläre Brücken mitten durch den Atlantik.
Roadtrip auf der Atlantikstraße
Die Norwegische Landschaftsroute Atlanterhavsvegen ist insgesamt 36 Kilometer lang. Der bekannteste Abschnitt der Atlantikstraße verbindet Averøy mit dem Festland über sieben Brücken, die kleine Inseln miteinander verknüpfen.
Die legendäre Straße bildete in internationalen Film- und Serienproduktionen eine atemberaubende Kulisse – unter anderem in dem James-Bond-Film Keine Zeit zu sterben und der preisgekrönten HBO-Serie Succession.
Der Startpunkt der Route ist etwa 8 Stunden von Oslo, 9 Stunden von Bergen, 3 Stunden und 40 Minuten von Trondheim und eine landschaftlich reizvolle Fahrt von 2 Stunden und 40 Minuten von Ålesund entfernt. Alternativ können Sie nach Kristiansund oder Molde fliegen und von dort ein Auto mieten.
Auch mit dem Fahrrad ist die Strecke befahrbar – beachten Sie aber bitte das teils hohe Verkehrsaufkommen.

Bitte halten Sie nur an ausgewiesenen Parkplätzen und denken Sie daran: Übernachten ist entlang der Straße nicht erlaubt. In der Umgebung gibt es aber zahlreiche schöne Campingplätze.
Unbedingt empfehlenswert ist ein Spaziergang über den erhöhten und barrierefreien Panoramaweg zum Aussichtspunkt auf der Insel Eldhusøya.

Entlang der Straße gibt es tolle Angelplätze – zum Beispiel bei Geitøya oder der Myrbærholm-Brücke.

BudDas Fischerdorf Bud
Im 16. und 17. Jh. war Bud der größte Handelsplatz zwischen Bergen und Trondheim. Hier wurde im Jahre 1533 unter Leitung des Erzbischofs Olav Engelbrektsson das letzte von Dänemark unabhängige Reichstreffen in Norwegen abgehalten. Heute ist Bud ein aktives und charmantes Fischerdorf mit mehreren guten Fischrestaurant.
BudDas Fischerörtchen Bjørnsund
Bjørnsund ist ein verlassenes Fischerdorf mit maritimer Atmosphäre. Um 1900 wohnten dort noch 500-600 Menschen. Die Häuser, die sich auf den Holmen und Schären festklammern, wurden renoviert und werden als Ferienunterkünfte genutzt. Bjørnsund ist ein beliebter Ort für mehrtägige Schulausflüge.
