Im Juni 2026 eröffnet das spektakuläre, innovative neue Otolith-Museum in Storvågan, Kabelvåg – im Herzen der Lofoten-Inseln!
Es wird Teil des SKREI-Zentrums für Wissen und Erlebnisse sein, zu dem auch das Lofoten-Museum, die Galerie Espolin und das Lofoten-Aquarium gehören.
Das Otolith erzählt die Geschichte der Fischerei auf den Lofoten und beleuchtet die enorme Bedeutung des Skrei – dieser nordostarktische Kabeljau hat die Geschichte Norwegens mitbestimmt!

4. Kistefos – ein neues Besucherzentrum
Im spektakulären Kistefos-Museum und Kunstzentrum in der Nähe von Oslo eröffnet im Juni 2026 ein neues Besucherzentrum. Das Design stammt vom Architekturbüro Lund Hagem Arkitekter AS.
Vom neuen Gebäude genießt man einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Fluss Randselva. Die Architektur harmoniert mit der Landschaft und wurde von der Geschichte des Holzflößens in Kistefos inspiriert.
5. Emissionsfrei unterwegs in UNESCO-geschützten Fjorden
Für den Verkehr im Geirangerfjord startete am 1. Januar 2026 eine neue Ära: Kleine Passagierschiffe in den UNESCO-geschützten Fjorden müssen nun emissionsfrei betrieben werden.
Erleben Sie eine elektrische Fjordkreuzfahrt mit dem eleganten, in Norwegen gebauten Hybridkatamaran Geirangerfjord 3 von Geiranger Fjordservice – Ruhe und Idylle statt Motorenlärm!
Mit dem Katamaran können Sie die Strecke Ålesund–Geiranger zurücklegen oder Fjordfahrten im Geirangerfjord machen. Er steht zudem für Chartertouren zur Verfügung.
Ab 2032 wird die Null-Emissions-Politik für alle Passagierschiffe gelten.

Im November 2025 zeigte Havila Voyages, dass sich die gesamte Küstenroute zwischen Bergen und Kirkenes emissionsarm befahren lässt.
Die Havila Polaris legte die gesamte Strecke mit verflüssigtem Biogas zurück. Vorläufige Berechnungen zeigen, dass die CO2-Emissionen durch den Einsatz von Biogas und den Batteriesystemen des Schiffes um fast 92 Prozent gesenkt werden können.

Welcome to the concert series "Our Lady on Saturday"! On June 20th, we will be visited by the Norwegian Choir in Geneva. The choir will perform a varied program of both Norwegian and international works – from traditional tones to modern sounds. This will be a concert filled with musical joy, community and strong experiences in one of Trondheim's most iconic churches. Free admission Welcome! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Norwegian Choir in Geneva (CNG) was founded in 1996 and is conducted by Steve Dunn. The repertoire is very diverse and includes classical music from the Renaissance, Baroque, Classicism, Romanticism and modern times, but also folk, pop and rock! The choir prepares at least one concert program per season and also sings at church services in the Seamen's Church. The singers come mainly from the Nordic countries, but not exclusively—the choir has almost as many different nationalities as singers!

Dumdum Boys Their combination of raw energy, timeless songs and the ability to connect with new generations still makes them one of Norway’s foremost live bands. When Dumdum Boys earlier this year announced concerts in the country’s largest cities and on several of Norway’s most central stages, the shows were almost immediately sold out. The band’s presence on stage is often described as a moment when the music hits the body – hard, precise and unavoidable. In the summer of 2026, audiences in Bergen will get to experience this when the band takes over Plenen. Raga Rockers make a long-awaited return One of Norway’s most iconic rock bands of all time, Raga Rockers, are also ready for Bergen Calling in the summer of 2026. The International Women's League for Peace and Freedom (IKFF) in Trondheim invites you to the third PEACE Festival in the city. IKFF Trondheim is organizing the PEACE Festival 2026 from June 6-20. This year's sub-theme is: How to create peace - if not with weapons? The festival is organized in the shadow of war! The festival will be a clear counter-voice to increasing militarization, and provide space for artistic and popular expressions that challenge the notion that weapons create peace. Through the PEACE Festival, many who are not otherwise PEACE activists are activated and the festival puts the PEACE focus on the agenda in the cityscape. A subgroup of IKFF in Trondheim, Artists for FRED, is responsible for this year's event. On June 6th at 12:00, the festival opens with an exhibition by Tiril Valeur at the Feminist House. He is a regular fixture at Nieu Scene, and has appeared on Humor over Oslo, Crap Comedy Festival, Latter and Ole Bull. Warlocks to Café Skuret on 19 June 2026! Norwegian rap veterans Warlocks are celebrating 30 years as artists, and are heading to Skuret for an evening filled with classic Norwegian hip hop. Since the early 90s, in Oslo's emerging hip-hop scene, the Warlocks have been pioneers in Norwegian rap. With roots in graffiti, breaking and underground culture, they traveled the country – long before hip-hop became commonplace in Norway. With songs like "Flashbacks", "East of Oslo" and "Takin Ova" (with TP Allstars), they were among the first to bring Norwegian rap to a wider audience. Their music is influenced by British and American hip hop, combined with honest depictions of Oslo's underground.
