Trondheim im Sommer

Voller Leben, voller Genuss!

    wheel trowing for beginners

Duration: 12 hours spread over 2 days Saturday: 10 AM – 5 PM (7 PM)** Sunday: 10 AM – 3 PM (5 PM)** Course fee: NOK 3800 (adult) / NOK 3300 (senior/student) The beginner’s wheel-throwing weekend offers time and space to learn basic throwing techniques over the course of a weekend. This course is suitable for anyone interested in trying out the pottery wheel—whether or not you have prior experience with clay. It’s designed for adults*, and can be adapted to meet individual needs. We work in small groups of around 9 participants. The course is primarily held in Norwegian, but English or German are also no problem. The course is led by Franziska and runs from 10 AM to 5 PM (7 PM)** on Saturday, and from 10 AM to 3 PM (5 PM)** on Sunday. The main focus is on mastering the individual steps of the wheel-throwing process. We learn by observing—understanding with the head, but mastering with the hands. This process requires concentration and patience, while offering a unique sense of presence as your body learns to handle the clay on the wheel. We progress in small steps and grow fond of each little bowl we create. The course provides a solid foundation to continue working on your own at the wheel—either in our open studio or at home. On Saturday, we work on preparing the clay, centering it on the wheel, and pulling up walls to create cups and bowls. Sunday is mostly dedicated to trimming, where we remove excess clay from the pieces made the day before and shape them to a nice form and finish. It's also possible to learn how to make and attach handles to cups on this day. After drying, the pieces will be fired in the kiln. At the end of the course, we’ll agree on how the items should be glazed. If you wish to do the glazing yourself, you can sign up for a glazing course***. Finished pieces can be picked up about 3 weeks later. * It's possible to register a youth (age 16+) at the student price if they are accompanied by a participating adult. ** After the official course hours, participants have the option to continue working independently for up to two extra hours. *** Please note that there must be at least three weeks between the two courses to allow the pottery to dry and be fired before glazing. You can still sign up for a glazing course after completing the wheel-throwing course—you don’t need to book it right away and can choose a date that suits you later. The course fee includes: 16-hour wheel-throwing course, incl. materials 3-hour glazing course, incl. materials 1 free trial month in our Open Studio, incl. 5 kg of clay

The novel has been republished in 2026, but was originally published in 1942. The novel is almost eerily current..., a century after World War II. “We must make amends for our colossal ignorance and become human,” writes Ninni Roll Anker. “We are the ones responsible for life on earth, only we. And it will not change until we acknowledge it and act on it/…/ until then it will never change.” Panter Tanter Produksjoner by Berit Rusten has adapted the novel text in Ninni Roll Anker's "The Woman and the Black Bird" by extracting text fragments from the novel. The text fragments do not provide a "dramatization" of a course, but are the starting point for an interdisciplinary happening, where the echo of the words, tones, images and dance may be the starting point for reflection.... And preferably a reflection oriented towards the following statement "Without PEACE, EVERYTHING is nothing". Panter Tanter Produksjoner, which consists of three mature women, Kari Hustad, Berit Rusten and Sissel Horghagen, will sing, speak and use body movements in performing the text, as a kind of mini-speaking choir, interspersed with singing, washboard, kantele and perhaps more instruments? Vitor Antonio Monico Truzzi will dance the black bird. He is Brazilian and has danced extensively internationally before coming to Norway. Aimeé Kaspersen comes in as "an outside eye" the last week before the premiere. The staging will take place at Stillverk 1, at the time Norway's smallest theater stage run by Annika Udo (Teater Visuell). Panter Tanter Produksjoner has previously staged "Tahirih..Iranian Women's Voices" directed by Kate Pendry there. Stillverk 1 has been dormant for a few years, but has now been given new life. "The Woman(s) and the Black Bird" is supported with a small amount by Trondheim Municipality. • White Trash Blues Band - Quarter Wolf - Les Faux Coupes
    Trondheim
    04.07.2026

White Trash Blues Band - Quarter Wolf - Les Faux Coupes

Saturday, July 4th! Doors open 8:00 PM - concert starts 9:00 PM - age limit 18 years. WHITE TRASH BLUES BAND The band released the highly acclaimed album "Good Start in the Wrong Direction" last year! An album that shows a band that mixes the timeless energy of Rock'n'Roll with the raw unfiltered soul of garage rock and punk soul! The band consists of 4 middle-aged friends who are stretching the rope and who started a band to have an excuse to hang out in rehearsals and drink beer and talk shit. And who have gradually become one of Norway's most wonderful and finest underground bands and who deliver an explosion of Rock & Roll attitude! Their live performances never disappoint. The music carries the legacy of the great icons of the genre, while adding their own unique touch. This is rock in its purest form. QUARTER WOLF The Norwegian-Australian garage-punk duo has, since their debut album in 2013, delivered a string of great albums and concerts! They have visited the Lobby a number of times and delivered sweaty, intense and wonderful concert experiences! Norway's most energetic rock duo delivers concerts like no other. This dynamic duo has a unique ability to fill any concert venue with an explosive mix of powerful guitar rock, passionate charismatic vocals and pulsating rhythms. Their live performances are pure rock 'n' roll energy and unparalleled for all rock lovers! "If you don't like Quarter Wolf, you don't like rock. Your Loss!" was Egon Holstad/Feedback's verdict on the latest studio album. LES FAUX COUPES With pointy shoes, from the shadow of the garage and straight out of the speaker comes the Trondheim band Les Faux Coupes – a rock/punk/noise monster that doesn't ask permission, doesn't apologize, and doesn't turn off for the night. They broke through with a bang in 2025. With three singles and the subsequent debut album "Form is Temporary, Fuzz is Forever" they took the audience by storm! The debut album is a wall of sound of guitar, bass, drums, dust and sore throats – recorded in a basement studio with walls full of old posters and broken dreams. It sounds damn good! Les Faux Coupes play as if every concert is their last – and every song a cry to be heard before everything falls apart. This is not music for background listening. This is not something you put on while you make soup. This is music you turn up until the neighbor complains, and then some. A rare experienced debut band characterized by Chelsea boots and suit trousers. They continue the legacy of the Stooges, Black Flag, Buzzcock, MC5. Here we are talking punk, rock, noise, garage… Effective, precise and relentless. Shirt and punk. Boots and noise. Tie and garage.

• The Girl Who Leapt Through Time
    Trondheim
    11.06.2026 - 13.06.2026

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time

Toki o kakeru shôjo (Toki o kakeru shôjo, Japan 2006) 1h 38m - Japanese voice, English subtitles - Age limit 12 years The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, based on Yasutaka Tsutsui's 1967 science fiction novel, is a story that has been adapted into a number of films. But the best of them all is undoubtedly Mamoru Hosoda's animated version - perhaps the best time travel film since Back to the Future! Teenage Makato is a gentle and rather carefree tomboy who loves to throw a ball and hang out with her two best friends. One day, she accidentally finds a mysterious object that gives her the ability to jump in time – an ability she initially squanders on superficial fun, like endless karaoke sessions, sleeping in extra late in the morning and making sure her little sister doesn't steal her pudding from the fridge. Things like that. But then she begins to realize that the changes she makes in the past have ripple effects in the future – ripple effects that can be serious enough to be fatal. At the same time, she discovers that time jumps have their limits. Will she be able to correct the future before it's too late, and before she runs out of jumping?

Arrangementet er åpent for alle, men små barn bør ha med en voksen som kan hjelpe Vi har mye restegarn, men hvis noen har restegarn av bomull så ta det gjerne med
