Die Bergregion Norefjell liegt nur eineinhalb Stunden von Oslo entfernt. Einmal angekommen, hat man den Lärm der Großstadt jedoch schnell hinter sich gelassen. Stattdessen werden Besucher von nah und fern von friedlicher Ruhe und frischer, klarer Bergluft begrüßt.
Im Sommer und Herbst bieten die Berge und der See von Norefjell vielseitige Gelegenheiten, die wunderschöne Natur Norwegens zu erleben. Wandern und Mountainbiken zählen dabei sicher zu den beliebtesten Aktivitäten. Mit etwas Glück begegnen Sie auf Ihrer Tour sogar wilden Rentieren. Wenn Sie wollen, können Sie aber auch einfach am Golfplatz oder einem der Strände am See relaxen und Sonne tanken.
Die regionale Kultur lernen Sie bei einem Ausflug mit Norwegens längster Nostalgiebahn kennen, der Krøderbahn. FlåBattlescar
The path is categorized as a red path, which is suitable for experienced cyclists. It has been named Battlescar, and we think that is an appropriate name for a somewhat demanding trail... Battlescar is a so-called airflow trail, which in practice means that here it is possible to get air under the wheels. However, there are no obstacles along the way that cannot be rolled with the wheels on the ground all the time, so the threshold for trying it out should not be too high if you feel that you have mastered the blue trail Forkbeard well. Along the path there are several hugely beautiful vantage points where you can, among other things, have a wide view of the mountains Høgevarde (1459), Hesteleinnattan (1183) and Hestgjuvnatten (1068). The trail was built by World Trail, which is among the world's leading trail building companies. FlåThe large carnivore information centre
The mandate of the centre is to spread neutral and factual knowledge to the public through the visitor centre and educational activities aimed at schools and communities. The large carnivore information centre is newly established and is one out of three governmental authorized information centres for large carnivores in Norway. High numbers of free-ranging domestic animals (mostly sheep) and increasing populations of carnivores challenges a sustainable management, and the conflict level is high. Our mandate is to mitigate conflicts and promote coexistence with large carnivores. The visitor centre has an educational exhibition providing unbiased and objective information covering all parts of the large carnivore subject: biology, research, management, conservation and conflicts. Learn how to behave if you meet a bear. Compare the size of the carnivores, fur, foot prints, claws and cranium. Test your skills placing the right carnivore to tracks, cadavers, sounds and traces. What is the opinion of different stakeholder organizations, and what is yours? The exhibition is modern and interactive to make it interesting for all generations and it is continuously updated. The location inside a zoo with live carnivores gives visitors at the zoo the possibility to learn about all aspects of the large carnivores.
FlåSauvallsvingen bike ride
A machine-built "trail trail" with large doses and various jumps and b-lines. The trail is wide and kind for the little ones, and works well for everyone regardless of age and cycling experience. The first half is a nice and in some places hike through fantastic high mountain terrain, before the second half brings more speed and flow. There are fantastic views of the Gulsvik trees and the Høgevarde area, as well as several picnic areas along the way. If you want a little more excitement then you can include a top trip to Hesteleinnattan, or find a nice singletrail down from Sauvallnatten in the northern direction. You must cycle / walk to the starting point. You can park along Gulsviksetervegen, and then cycle the same road to end where the starting point of the trail is. Alternatively, you can park at the end of Fjellseterhaugen, and thus get a small shortcut (must be ripped off by the less experienced cyclists).
FlåHøgevarde Mountain Park
Høgevarde has a mountain park with slopes both for children and adults. The longest slope is 1200 kilometers long, with an altitude of 200 meters. After a day in the slopes, you can enjoy good company in the heated hut, and buy food and drinks in the glass lavvu. There is also a service building with toilets. Both the lavvu and the servicebuilding you can rent for events. The mountain park is open Saturdays and Sundays in the winter season.
FlåRestaurant Rumi
The story of Rumi begins in the ancient kingdoms of the Middle East, where the Ottoman-Turkish and Persian cultures of the Middle Ages meet - in the story of the legendary poet, mystic and sage Rumi! After many years in Norway, I wanted, Fariborz Minaei, to bring the legacy of Rumi, from my native country of Iran, into my first restaurant and my first carpet gallery of the same name, in Hønefoss. After many years of work and creativity in creating a unique restaurant at Søndre Torv in Hønefoss, we handed over the original Cafe and Restaurant Rumi to new owners, and together with my Bulgarian wife Leotina we continued the well-established concept of specialties from the Bulgarian kitchen to the newly established Rumi Restaurant and Cafe in Flå, opened in spring 2019. The restaurant is fully planned, designed and decorated by ourselves - it is shaped in our picture and is inspired by the story of Rumi! We have also opened carpet gallery in the same place, where we sell Persian rugs that I have bought myself from markets, private collections and villages in Iran.
FlåLavvostien
This trail is an easy but fun beginner´s loop, with sidehits and options for more advanced riders. The trail is very nicely executed by the trailbuilding team from World Trail, with beautiful river crossings, support walls and berms. A must do! The trail starts and ends 50 metres east of the Lavvo cafe in Høgevarde, right above the main parking lot.
FlåBärenpark
Im Vassfaret-Gebiet gab es noch bis 1972 wild lebende Bären. Der Bärenpark lässt mit seinen Tieren und Gebäuden die alten Zeiten wieder lebendig werden. Hier kann man Bären, Elche und Rehe auf täglichen Führungen ganz aus der Nähe erleben. Die Kinder können Tiere füttern, in Hindernis-Parcour gehen und Spuren am Rand des Naturerlebnispfads suchen. Einfache, bieten Vassfarhallen und Bamsebua. Auch ein Lavvo-Zelt und ein Grill stehen zum Picknicken zur Verfügung.
FlåForkbeard
A wonderfully fun flow path, with dosages and flow all the way, but also technical elements for advanced cyclists. The top cover is a combination of driven gravel and site-specific mass. Along the path there are several viewpoints with sweeping views of Hallingdal, Vassfaret and Krøderen. Along the way there is also a rest area with the possibility of a small bonfire (NOTE: Bonfire areas cannot be used during the forest fire period 15 April-15 September!). The trail starts east of Høgevarde Fjellpark, just east of Lavvostien. Feel free to start the cycle tour from Lavvoen, onto Lavvostien and take this path at the easternmost point on Lavvostien.
NoresundVilla Fridheim
The fairytale house Villa Fridheim is one of Norway's most prominent and best-preserved Swiss-style houses. In addition to the beautiful villa with its unique architecture, we preserve our intangible cultural heritage with a particular focus on fairy tales and storytelling in our fairytale museum. Exhibitions, concerts, and events emphasize our social mission and the enchanting experience you get when you visit our "Soria Moria" castle. The impressive hall is decorated with large fairy tale paintings by Egil Thorin Næsheim. Fairy tale tableaux by doll maker Ingebjørg Andersen Lithell can be seen on several floors, and each year, there is a new art exhibition at Villa Fridheim. In the basement, you will find an exhibition about those who collected, told, and illustrated fairy tales and temporary solo exhibitions by contemporary fairy tale artists. The museum is primarily dedicated to the life works of Peter Christen Asbjørnsen and Jørgen Moe, but other fairy tale collectors are naturally included as well. The Brothers Grimm, who were Asbjørnsen's and Moe's most significant sources of inspiration, are also featured.
FlåFantastic cross-country skiing around Høgevarde
Around Høgevarde cabin field, there are 50 kilometers of groomed trails for cross-country skiing in the winter season. You can take long trips on the mountain plateau or shorter trips around the cabins. You can take a break at the heated hut in Høgevarde mountain park or in the self-service hut at Sauvall. Høyfjellet (the High Mountains): Here you can find a fabulous view, not far from the Høgevarde top at 1459 m.a.s.l. There are also two access points to the Hallingdal-route, which is 144 kilometers long and can take you from Norefjell to Ustaoset. Fyrisjø: Popular trips for families and children with many good places for a break along the way. You can build a fire and enjoy your lunch, an orange and a cup of hot chocolate. You can also go tobogganing, or play amongst the trees. The Heimseter-trails: A forest trail in low terrain with great surroundings. The trail is 10 kilometers and is suitable for windy days, or early in the season. At www.skisporet.no you can see which routes that are groomed at any given time.
FlåHunting and Angling Center
The hunting and angling center is beautifully located with view over Vassfaret. It is a vibrant training center, owned and operated by The Norwegian association for hunters and anglers. Courses, trainings and conferences are held all year long for everyone who has an interest for fishing and hunting. You can learn how to become a better shooter, a better hunter, a better fisherman, or a better hunting dog owner. The center is a place where you can gather groups in a special atmosphere, and you can combine courses or meetings with hunting and fishing related experiences. Every year thousands of visitors come to enjoy the atmosphere and the wilderness experiences. The hunting and angling center offer modern conference facilities and customize activities to suit your needs.
FlåVeslefjell
Veslefjell, 993 m.a.s.l. is an easy trip for the whole family. The trail is 3 kilometers, with an altitude of 140 meters. When you reach the top, you get a view of Vassfaret, Hedalen, Hadeland, Sørbøfjell, Norefjell, Høgevarde, Eggedalsfjell, Flentpiken, Saulifjell og Nesfjell. Drive East from Flå Centre and take left in the roundabout to Fv203. Follow signs marked Veneli. Starting point: Parking spot Veneli. Walk further on the dirt road for about 300 meters until you see the information board for Veneli cultural trail (Veneli fjellskog- og kultursti). Follow marked path until you see information board number 6. Walk 30 meters past the board and you will find the marked path up to Veslefjell.
FlåBlåfjell
Blåfjell, 1154 m.a.s.l. is an easy trip for the whole family. Drive Southeast from Flå centre, take left in the roundabout (Fv203), then right towards Vassfaret. Follow dirt road 18 kilometers. Starting point: Parking spot by commemorative plaque (Minneplate), 1,5 kilometers after Domfet. Follow dirt road by foot to the top of the hill. Take a left turn to path marked Blåfjell. The path is 2,5 kilometers and has an altitude of 150 meters. When you reach the top, you get a spectacular view of Krødsherad, Sigdal, Nes, Hemsedal, Jotunheimen, Valdres and Gaustatoppen. The trail is included in the hiking booklet bought at Thon Hotel Bjørneparken or the service center at Veksthuset (Norwegian text only).
FlåVassfaret nature- and cultural trail
Her kan du ta med hele familien på en historisk vandring. The trail is focused around Vassfaret's special nature, geology, biology, cultural history, conservation, forestry, hunting and angling. FlåMountains and hiking in Flå
Flå – the adventure in Hallingdal – is a paradise for people who want to reach high. The municipality has many wonderful mountaintops, well worth the effort when you see the spectacular view. The mountains are as high as 1466 m.a.s.l. and you can see as far as to Rondane on clear days. You can buy the booklet containing 11 mountains in Flå at Thon Hotel Bjørneparken or at the service center at Veksthuset. The booklet gives you directions to the top and contains punch cards. Flå offers more than just mountaintops. On our cultural trails, you can gather knowledge about the region's nature, culture and history.

Wenn Sie mit dem Auto von Oslo kommen, folgen Sie der Hauptstraße E18 nach Sandvika und dann der E16 in Richtung Hønefoss. Fahren Sie die Rv7 in Richtung Gol, bis Sie Noresund erreichen. Von Noresund folgen Sie der Beschilderung zum Skigebiet Norefjell.
Mit dem Bus
In der Wintersaison können Sie samstags und sonntags von Oslo mit dem Bus ins Skigebiet Norefjell fahren. An den Weihnachtsfeiertagen sowie in den Winter- und Osterferien fahren zusätzliche Busse. Die Fahrt dauert ca. zwei Stunden.
