Your opportunity to try cycling in tandem! Tromsø Outdoor offers two tandem bikes for rent: - 2017 model of Lapierre Touring Tandem - 2015 model of Tandem Yosemite 500 Read below information about bikes before you book.
Lapierre Touring Tandem is high quality bike you can take for a day trip or long tour along Norwegian coasts.
Wheel size: 26”
Frame size: front 50 cm, rear 45 cm (recommended users heights ca. 150-180 cm tall in front and 150-175 cm tall back)
Gear: 27 Shimano Deore XT SLM590, 9 gears
Weight: 21 kg
Maximum passenger weight: 200 kg + 25 kg max luggage rack load
Touring tandem is equipped with:
- mud fenders
- three water bottle holders
- rear luggage rack
- bike computer
- lowrider
In addition you can rent:
- bike bags: rear, front and for handle bar (handle bar holder follows)
- bike cargo and child trailers
Tandem Yosemite 500 is suitable only for shorter day trips in Tromsø or for those who want to try riding in tandem for the first time. This bike is not really suitable for longer tours, so cannot be rented for such.
