Schulzhytta
The small cabin with the big heart. Schulzhytta is one of Norway's smallest tourist cabins that is serviced. It is also Norway's northernmost serviced cabin. It is centrally located in the westernmost part of Sylan, right in the heart of Roltdalen and Skarvan National Park. This is the last major nature area in Trøndelag without power development and road connection.
The cabin is located above the hamlet Stormoen with a view over the valley and towards the Fongen massif. Here, hiking opportunities await in all directions, whether you want to stay permanently at the cottage or plan a trip from cottage to cottage in Sylan.
At Schulzhytta, nature and culture meet. One of the exciting and cultural-historical hiking destinations that is definitely worth a visit is the old millstone quarries. If you love fishing, the area around the cabin offers many opportunities.
The cottage is serviced at Easter and in the summer season. The rest of the year there is self-catering accommodation. Locked with DNT key out of service season.
