Grønningbrygga

Grønningbrygga is located in the outer part of the Eidsfjord. The building, which previously functioned as the local grocery store with a big apartment upstairs, has now been redecorated to accommodate guests.

The surroundings are quite picturesque, with steep mountains on both sides of the fjord. In mid summer you can enjoy the midnight sun. The area is also known for it’s plentifulness of berries, mainly blueberry and lingonberry. The house is on one side situated along the road through the area, and on the other side the ocean.
The apartment consist of:

A big kitchen
Two living rooms, radio and television
Toilet
Bathroom, with toilet, shower, washer and drier
Three bedrooms with sleeping accommodations for up to 10 people
Big terrace. Free WiFi

There is a floating stage nearby with two boats for rent for those of you who would like to take a fishing trip on the fjord, or maybe just a trip to enjoy the ocean and the beautiful sights. If you catch fish, you will be able to prepare it and store in a freezer.

The Eidsfjord is known for it’s herring fishery, and the place had at one time it’s own receiving station for fish.
The eagle also enjoy the area, and is plentiful. There are lots of nesting places, and it is quite common to see the eagle.

In cooperation with Grønninghauan Småbåtforening we offer a marina with guest jetty located in Eidsfjord,1 km. from Grønningbrygga. The marina has 80 meters guest pier with power outlets.
