Heibergtunet Storevatn

Storevatn

Heibergtunet Storevatn consists of three seperate cabins. Enjoy your stay in one of the beautiful mountain cabins and enjoy waking up to breathtaking views.

Heibergtunet Storevatn are self contained cabins (there is food and cooking facilities), rentable from Stavanger Turistforening and you can stay during the summer or winter (with the exception of the hunting period, when the State Forest has one of the cabins). During the summer, the shortest way to get here is from Ådneram via Taumevatn (approximately 19 km), but you can also get here from Håhedlar (Brokke-Suleskarvegen), or even from the tourist lodges north of the Great Lakes.

The cabins are fully restored and filled with exciting stories and pictures from the time of 'Heiberg' and there is great fishing in the area.

During winter there are marked ski trails from Ådneram via Taumevatn from the beginning of February. The smaller cabin has four beds and only takes an hour to warm up should you arrive on a cold winter day!

There is an emergency phone in one of the cabins.
