Open every day 10 am-3 pm with these activities:
- Open café.
- Go on a discovery tour and learn about plants, buildings and superstitions.
- Guided tours every day at 11 am. Meet at the gate of Setesdalstunet. Duration 1 hour.

- Various children's activities every day at 1 pm-2 pm. On Sundays from 12 pm-2 pm (until 9.8).
At the open-air museum at Kongsgård you can visit nearly 40 different houses. There are older wooden buildings moved here from Kvadraturen in Kristiansand and two farmyards, one from Setesdal and one from Eiken. Setesdalstunet houses the museum's oldest building, Nomelandsloftet, from 1585.
The "Minibyen" shows quarters with miniature houses from old Kristiansand. In our café in Mørchs pavillion you can enjoy a freshly baked waffle with a cup of coffee or tea.
If you want to take a bus to the museum, you can take eastbound buses from Henrik Wergelandsgate. M1, M2, M3 and M4 all go past Kristiansand Museum. The bus stop is called Bjørndalssletta. For timetables, see www.akt.no.
