Situated a few kilometres from the coast of Southern Norway’s archipelago, you find the elegant and quaint Boen Gård. The estate was closed for the public until it opened its doors in 2012. Today, Boen Gård appears just as splendid as in its former glory days. The buildings, the park, and the outdoor areas have been restored, and are under constant maintenance. The main building boasts a new restaurant kitchen, while the interior has been remodelled in line with its original style, including furniture and art. The gastronomy and service go hand in hand with the unique surroundings. Our dedicated staffs, led by Maître D’ Dagfinn Galdal and head chef Tomasz Rochon, do their utmost in order to give our guests a unique experience. Overnight guests may spend the night in the two apartments located in the wings of the main building.

Three historical buildings get a new function

From the 1st of June in 2020, Boen Gård will offer 18 rooms and 36 beds in total, along with unique conference facilities. The restoration is carried out in a manner that keeps the buildings’ history intact.
