Whale watching in magical Skjervøy

This tour is conducted by Green Gold of Norway. From November to January around 400 Orcas and 100 Humpback whales gather around Skjervoy to feed on Herring fish. We will position our Rib-boats with the best possible angle to capture this fascinating creatures with our cameras. As our boats are small and low, we might hear them as well!

We pick you up 5:30 am and drive to Skjervøy along fantastic Fjords and Mountains. Upon arrival in Skjervøy, you will receive warm flotation suits, life jackets, boots, and mittens.

Program:

05:30: Departure from Tromsø
10:00 Arrival Skjervøy (guests get flotation suits, boots and mittens)
10:30: We navigate our rigid inflatable boats (RIB) for a once-in-a-lifetime whale watching experience!
13:15 We serve sandwiches, tea and coffee.
13:45 Departure to Tromso

Back in Tromsø 5:30pm (17:30)

Departure time and place: 5:30am from Scandic Ishavshotel
Number of participants: 24 (12 per RIB-boat)
Duration: 12 hours
Included: Guide in English, roundtrip to Skjervøy and back, sandwiches, tea and coffee, flotation suits, life jackets, boots and mittens.

Departure place and time: Meeting time 05:20 (AM). Meeting point: Prostneset Bus Terminal in Tromsø (ground floor, behind Magic Ice Bar). Please go directly to the large red Tromsø Safari bus and confirm with the driver. Address: Samuel Arnesens gate 5, 9008 Tromsø, Norway
