Vasseventyret is a family-friendly adventure trail combining nature experiences with play, learning, and fun activities. Located in the stunning mountain scenery of Haukelifjell, this 1.3 km circular trail features barbecue spots, a fishing area, and a swimming spot – all open to the public throughout the summer season.

2025 Visitor Information

In summer 2025, maintenance and upgrades are being carried out on some of the installations. This means certain activities may be temporarily unavailable.

Responsible Travel – Protecting Norway’s Nature

When hiking in Norway, it’s important to follow responsible outdoor practices to preserve the environment. Stay on marked trails to avoid damaging vegetation and ecosystems, carry all litter with you, and follow local rules – especially in protected areas. Keep a respectful distance from wildlife, and be mindful during nesting and breeding seasons. Small actions make a big difference in keeping Norway’s nature beautiful for generations to come.
