**VOGNILDSBUA**

Vognildsbua is an old-fashioned shop with a history that dates back to 1860’s. The main building is among the oldest general stores that still intact in Norway today.

The store was opened in 1860 and was in operation until the mid. 1980’s. Back in the day, Vognildsbua was a meeting place for the locals as much as it was a place to shop. The selection was varied - you could purchase the most necessary goods needed in everyday life, like flour, sugar, salt, clothing, shoes, fabrics and medicine.

Would you like to experience an old-fashioned general store? Have a coffee, ice cream and homemade pastries? You are welcome to stop by for a relaxing visit.
