Vestre Kjærnes Gård

Vestre Kjørnes Gård is located in a quiet and idyllic place by Vansjø in Våler county, 1 hour South of Oslo and 20 minutes from Moss Airport Rygge. The place has beein in the family since 1500. It's now owned and run by Berit and Per A. Kjærnes. In adition to the great location and the possibilities that gives, Per offers his experience. Per has for many years worked in leading positions in Statoil. He can contribute with his experience within management, international cultural understanding, industrial development and relations. In addition to conferences, Vestre Kjærnes Gård can be the perfect place for weddings and confirmations and private dinners. The great and special atmosphere here will create a perfect setting for any occassion. Capacity In the main building there are conference room that can have aprroximately 40 people. The outdoor living room can be used during the summer and the inside diningarea and connectiong areas can be used as group areas when needed. The conference room is equipped with projector and wireless internet. During the summer the charming barn can be used. It's dated from the 1900. The barn has capacity to about 100 people for dinner and for about 200 people for seminars etc. Accommodation On the 1st floor there are 5 charming double roomswith a beatiful view. All rooms have their ensuite bathrooms. In the barn there are 5 bedrooms and a small living room. It is 2 separate bathrooms and 2 wc in connection with the bedrooms. In the storehouse there are 2 bedrooms with a separate bath/wc on the ground floor and on the 1st floor there is a small apartement with a private bath/wc. Full capacity, 25-30 people can be accommodated at Vestre Kjærnes Gård. The Food Many options for how each group can arrange food during their stay. It is possible to buy and cook all food yourself. Alcohol has to be purchased on the property. Per and the rest of the staff can buy and cook the food and be responsible for the melas or we can arrange catering. Per and the rest of the staff is always avaialable as host for the guests if that is required and will always make sure that everything is perfect. In the main building there are possible to serve about 40 people in the conference room and about 25 people in the dining room. During the summer it is possible to serve about 100 people in the barn.
