At the tourist office in Gjøvik, you may rent bikes, kickbikes and skateboards. The bikes are well suited for all kinds of roads, but may also be used on paths and in light terrain. Helmets are of course provided free of charge.  Feel free to drop by for information, local tips or simply a friendly conversation.
