Founded in 1999, Tromsø Gift & Souvenir Shop is one of Tromsø’s best-known gift and souvenir shops. The shop offers a wide selection of local products, Sámi handicrafts, gifts and souvenirs from Northern Norway.
You’ll find Tromsø Gift & Souvenir Shop at Strandgata 36, next door to Tromsø Cathedral.
The shop is known as “the yellow shop on the corner”. During the summer, you might even be lucky enough to meet Wanny, the shop’s polar bear.
Tromsø Gift & Souvenir Shop offers one of Norway’s largest selections of gifts and souvenirs. As an independent, family-owned and Sámi-owned shop, it carries a wide range of products from more than 50 suppliers.
Here you will find quality products made locally in Northern Norway and Sápmi. The shop is particularly proud of its selection of Sámi products, including items made from reindeer horn and wood, as well as Sámi silver jewellery from renowned silversmiths across Sápmi. Tromsø Gift & Souvenir Shop also offers beautiful glass art made locally in Tromsø.
