Torghatten Strandrestaurant is magnificently situated at the foot of the legendary mountain Torghatten, 15 km from the Brønnøysund town centre. Time and again travellers are delighted to discover this beautiful seaside restaurant and its terrific fjord view.
Dine on the best local ingredients
The restaurant is part of Torghatten Camping; it lies right on the Torgfjord, at the foot of Torghatten. The chef takes pride in preparing dishes crafted using carefully selected local ingredients, which of course means the menu varies with the seasons.
By the sea and at the foot of the mountain
Specialities include seafood dishes concocted from the catch brought in by the local fishermen. Many of the herbs and vegetables are grown by the staff themselves in greenhouses, or on open land during the short growing season when the sun is shining almost around the clock. The team in the kitchen is well aware that this yields ingredients with superior flavour!
Time and peace to enjoy the flavors
Dinner is served from 6 to 9 pm, and we heartily recommend the six-course set menu, composed to honour its ingredients. If the conversation at your table falls silent, it will surely be because everyone is enjoying the wonderful flavours, and of course the fjord view.
