Stadtleben am Mjøsa

Willkommen in einem kompakten Stadtzentrum, das sich vom Bahnhof im Osten bis Stortorget im Westen erstreckt! Es hat die Form eines Fächers und bietet zwischen den einzelnen Häusern einen spektakulären Seeblick auf den Mjøsa. Im Stadtzentrum von Hamar gibt es viele verschiedene Geschäfte, Restaurants und andere Dienstleistungen.



CC Stadion, das örtliche Einkaufszentrum, liegt nur zwei Gehminuten östlich von der Torggata.



Die schöne Strandgata lädt mit ihren breiten Bürgersteigen zum Verweilen ein. Am Stortorget befindet sich das kulturelle Zentrum der Stadt, wo rund um die Uhr etwas los ist.



Wenn Sie ein paar Stunden in der Stadt verbringen, sollten Sie sich Zeit für einen Besuch in Koigen nehmen, einem spektakulären Erholungsgebiet am Seeufer des Mjøsa. Hier finden Sie einen großen Skatepark, Fitnessgeräte im Freien, Beachvolleyballplätze, Bänke und einen Sandstrand.



Die Strandpromenade gehört zu den schönsten, die Hamar zu bieten hat, und erstreckt sich über 8 km von Espern (südlich in Hamar) bis Jessnes (in Ringsaker). Die Promenade ist ein Wanderweg, ideal für Spaziergang (mit oder ohne Kinderwagen), Jogging und fürs Fahrradfahren. Und die ganze Zeit genießen Sie den Blick auf Norwegens größten Binnensee, den Mjøsa.



Die jüngste Neuerung an der Promenade ist Mjøsfronten, ein Treffpunkt für alle Altersgruppen. Hier werden Aktivitäten an Land und auf dem Wasser angeboten, aber es ist auch der ideale Ort, um einfach nur abzuhängen. Entspannen Sie sich in einer Hängematte, holen Sie sich einen Happen von den Imbisswagen, probieren Sie eine Wassersportaktivität aus, treiben Sie etwas Sport oder genießen Sie einen Saunagang auf dem Mjøsa.
