Skotten Seter - Bed & Husky

Skotten Seter – Bed & Husky is an old traditional mountain lodge located by an old summer farm nearby Ringebu. The silence and fresh mountain air help you sleep especially well, and after a delicious breakfast you’re ready for a new day.

Here you’ll find beautiful hiking trails leading into the mountains, only a 10-minute walk to the nearest swimming and fishing lake, cross-country ski trails right outside the door, and miles of cycling opportunities. After a wonderful day in the mountains, a traditional homemade three-course dinner awaits. You are also welcome to spend the entire day in the lounge by the fireplace, playing games, reading a book, and simply enjoying mountain life.

We offer a variety of rooms to suit you and your family/friends. In total, we have 36 beds in 15 rooms. Each room is unique, with a simple and cozy standard. Toilets and showers are located in the hallway. With a shoes-off policy indoors, you’ll truly experience a cabin-like atmosphere. If you don’t have indoor shoes, you may borrow a pair of our homemade slippers.

You will find us just 20 minutes from the E6 highway, with easy access by car both summer and winter. It is 40 minutes to Kvitfjell, about one hour to Hunderfossen Family Park, and just a little over an hour to Lillehammer.
