This trip goes by express boat from Fiskepirterminalen in Stavanger through the fjords to Sand.

In Sand you have some time to experience the community. We recommend a visit to Laksestudio (salmon studio) and Høsebura (Høse bridge), and a visit to the Ryfylke museum for some good stories. Enjoy excellent food and views at Ryfylke Fjordhotel or Fargeriet Kafé. If you would like to do a hike, Sand harbour is the starting point for a round trip by Høsebrua. The hike is 5 kilometers long and takes about 1 hour.

During the trip with the express boat you have close contact with the magnificent nature through the panorama windows, and you come very close to the sea.

About the trips This is a "Travel like the locals" tour. The tours use public transport, i.e. regular buses, ferries and boats, but we have done the planning for you so that you can concentrate on enjoying your trip. You travel on your own - there is no guide or tour leader. On most of our tours you must change several times between different buses/ferries/boats, and it is up to you to make sure you catch your connections – truly travelling like a local! (The tours are set up so that the buses, ferries and boats connect.) Trips are not available for booking on public holidays and during holiday periods such as Easter and Christmas due to deviations in the timetables.
