Private fishing tour by boat in Tromsø
The tour is conducted by Sørøya Havfiskecruise which has been in operation since 2006. We are a North Norwegian company with local and experienced crew. Our solid catamaran MB Havcruise is perfect for small private groups as companies, families etc.
Why not gather your group for a proper Northern Norwegian experience such as winter fishing? Local and knowledgeable hosts with years of experience with deep-sea fishing tourism will give you an extra safe and memorable trip.
On board with us, you can easily arrange for small company trips, surprise trips, theme trips, courses and conferences, groups of friends and more. We have PA facilities on board for live music if desired. For an extra price we can also book musicians.
It is almost a "must" to do a fishing trip while in Tromso. Large cod is common to get at this time of year, and we also often catch catfish, coalfish, pollack, haddock and halibut. We have to date not gone empty-handed to the jetty! As an added bonus, we often see both eagles and small dolphins. The beautiful clear winter colors, surrounding us is breathtaking. The tour ends with a feast of your own catch, you can`t get a fresher fish meal.
And food, of course, we offer the most delicious traditional fish meals. One of our favorites is boiled cod with carrots, potatoes, bacon, onions, butter and flatbread. This has proven to be a sure winner. On this trip, we are almost 100% sure that it is made from fresh self-caught fish.
We take safety seriously and have annual inspections of boats and equipment. All our passengers are well insured on board. We follow all advices from the Norwegian Directorate of Health regarding the corona pandemic. We clean all equipment daily and after each trip. All cancellations due to the corona situation will be fully refunded. Guests who have symptoms of corona will be asked to leave the boat before arrival
Meeting point is by our red and white catamaran MB Havcruise located at the outer floating pier nearby Scandic Ishavshotel. Meet latest 15 minutes before departure. We recommend you to look for the boat in good time. We are not able to wait more than 10 minutes.
Departure time and place: 10:00AM (10:00) from the floating jetty by Scandic Ishavshotel (on thee norhtern side of the hotel)
Duration: 3 hours (longer time can be booked upon request)

Please bring: warm clothing such as woollen hat, mittans and warm footwear
