Northern Lights Chase by Minibus

Our small-group minibus tour is limited to just 16 people, so you will not feel crowded. Travelling by minibus allows us to reach more remote locations, increasing the chances of seeing the Northern Lights.

You will travel in a comfortable, modern minibus. Upon arrival, our friendly guide will check you in and give you a short introduction to the adventure ahead.

The route we take will depend on the weather forecast and aurora activity. While we sometimes travel close to the Finnish border, about 210 km one way, we mainly focus on nearby coastal areas.

If the weather is favourable, we will stop at a bonfire, where you can enjoy warm drinks and light snacks. We advise everyone to dress warmly, including winter clothing, sturdy shoes, woollen socks, gloves, and a thick hat. Temperatures can drop from +5 °C to as low as –30 °C. It is also wise to eat a meal before the tour, as starting the journey on an empty stomach is not ideal.

If we are treated to a great display, we will share photos with you within two days after the tour.

On the way back, we will drop off guests who live within 5 km of the Magic Ice Bar.
