Hemsedal i an exellent strating point for many good cycle tours. The routes are varied and run trough beautifull nature with wild majestic mountains and vigorous valley parts. There are short daytrips on gravel roads to more demanding trips overnight stays at the many mountain cabins in the area. The terrain is varied, from asphalt, gravel and cart roads more challenging tracks and paths.
There are 12 biking trails, in total 240 km, graded and marked by their level of difficulty. These aare as follows:
- 4 green trails, easy and flat terrain
- 3 blue trails, easy with a few challenges
- 5 red trails, physically demanding
- 2 black trails, physically and technical demanding

Hemsedal Bike Park: 3 km. long with jumps, drops, north shores and large curved turns. The line is made for all skill levels of free rides bikers, and starts at the top of the 8-seater chair lift- Hollvin Express.
Skills course for bikers
At the bottom of Hemsedal Ski Resort you find an exiting skills course for bikers. The course is perfect for learning/training of technical skills and testing of rental bikes. It is free of charge and always open!
Bikes suitable for adults and children of all levels are available for rent and can be used in both bike parks and for touring, The bike rental is situated at the Welcom Centre.
