Der Løveid-Kanal bei Skotfoss verbindet den Norsjø mit dem Fareelv. Er hat vier Schleusenkammern mit einer Hubhöhe von 10,3 m. Beim Bau des Kanals in den Jahren 1854-60 wurden die Felsen mit Pulver gesprengt.
