Løvøya Camping

Løvøya is a peninsula in the Oslofjord just north of Horten in Vestfold, an hour's drive from Oslo. Løvøya is situated in a warm and lush area. There is a distinctive geology and beautiful spruce forests with a lot of exciting plant and animal life.

Central to the camping area is the historic Løvøyapellet with Olavskilden. This is part of the pilgrim trail. The place provides a special atmosphere and witnesses of a pick-up place from the early days. At the same time, there is a short distance to Borre Golf Course, Borre Park with its Viking graves and historic center, and the city with all amenities.

Together with summer cottages and a few permanent residents, Løvøya Camping & Marina is the central center of the island. Here you can enjoy life with swimming, fishing, boating, hiking, cycling and other activities. Or you can choose the tranquility of tranquility in a stunning natural area.

Vadfiskerstua
Vadfiskerstua is the central gathering point for guests and visitors at Løvøya Camping & Marina. Here you will find a reception and guardian, modern sanitary facilities, washing machines, large parking spaces, cabins, boat docks, short-term motor homes and caravan parks, kiosk / café and much more.

The cafe is small and cozy with local løvtrepreg. Here you can find The world's largest wooden tent for exhibition and admiration. It is also locally made. A new glass structure (Løvøyhallen) is bright and cozy - with its own wood-burning stove! Here you can enjoy food and drink in scenic surroundings, while watching summer traffic and boating outside. The premises are also suitable for rent to smaller companies or meetings.

Løvøya have dishes for beer and wine. The kitchen specializes in steaks and Løvøypizza, but of course we also have plenty of regular kiosk items.
