At the southern tip of Hurumlandet you will find this idyllic campsite with a unique location by the fjord and its own beach. Knatvoldstranda Camping is located just 40 km from Drammen, 60 km from Oslo.
An ideal location whether you choose to take a weekend trip or if you want to spend your holiday here. Here you can holiday in quiet and scenic surroundings, with a great beach, fishing opportunities, fantastic hiking terrain and a kiosk. This is also a child-friendly place.
We have our own overnight spaces for motorhomes and caravans, our own tent area and five rental cabins. The cabins have a large terrace with a lawn around them. They are 40 square meters with beds for four, divided into one bedroom and a loft, and are equipped with underfloor heating, a bathroom with shower, a well-equipped kitchen, TV with satellite, Wifi - internet and a private storage room. All cabins are rented out with beds made up and cleaning done.
We have a café serving food and drinks for day and tour guests who want to visit and spend a few hours in the area and on the beach.
Knatvoldstranda Camping is open seasonally from May 1 to September 30.
During the summer holiday the Holmslbu train runs daily between the cammping site Holmsbu church, Holmsbu center and the Art Museum as well as Rødtangen Camping, allowing for a nice hike along the coastal path between the two camping sites.
