Kennel Dølanvollen

As we have to follow recommended infection control due to the corona / Covid-19, we unfortunately do not have any opportunity to lend out clothes and shoes. It is therefore very important that all our guests make sure to bring their own WARM CLOTHES, SHOES, HATS AND GLOVES!

Kennel Dølanvollen offers guided dogsledding tours from our location, a 10 minute drive north of Røros. You drive your «own» sleigh with 4-5 dogs and get to feel the special interaction with the dogs,in beautiful surroundings! If you want, you can join and help prepare the dogs before we leave the dog farm. This is a total experience, where you get close to the dogs and the stunning nature around Røros.

Our most popular tour is about 25km. and take about 2 hours.

We can also offer a short trip. It’s 8km. and takes about 1 hour. You can book this one here. Yoy have to be minimum 14 years old to drive your own sled. The kids under 14 years of age are sitting in the sleds.
