Herøy Coastal Museum

The Coastal Museum is the old trading town from the 19th century, with various buildings, interiors, fishing cabinets and boats. Sunnmørsjekta "Anna Olava" complements the idyllic trading town, and has its home port there. The yacht is a reconstruction made on the basis of finds from an old yacht found on Håkonsholmen in Ulstein. The museum is an important communicator of the island's history, and in the summer we offer guided tours. The museum café is open every day between 12-16 in the period 10.07. - 30.08. 2020. Guided tours for groups outside opening hours can be arranged separately.
