Groven Camping og Hyttegrend is a 3 star family campsite near the mountain areas of Rauland and Haukelifjell with Norway's oldest camping cabin of 700 years.
Groven Camping is a three-star famy oriented camping that lies 500 m.a.s in beautiful surroundings. Only 250 meters from the center of Åmot, and right in the middle of Southern Norway. Short distance to great hiking opportunities in Rauland, Dalen and Haukeli.
They have a total of 20 cabins of various sizes, 26 spots for motorhomes. The camping also has sanitary facilities and a dump station.
If you want to visit "Loftet", you also get bragging rights about spending a night in Norway's oldest camping cabin - which is 700 years old!
