Geilo
Enjoy the beautiful view over Hallingskarvet, Hallingskarvet National Park and Geilo!
The Geilo Summer Lift takes you up the mountain all the way to the mountain top Bjødnahovda at an altitude of 1056 meters. This is the National Park Viewpoint, where you can enjoy a fantastic view of Hallingskarvet and beautiful nature! You also get a glimpse of the mountain village Geilo and the surrounding mountain sides with the farms.
The Summer Lift is an ideal starting point for hiking in the Hardangervidda National Park and to the mountain lodge Hakkesetstølen Fjellstue, or for exciting cycling down the flow trails. There are different levels, and the most popular is Flow Motion, which is family-friendly and almost 4 km long. You can purchase single tickets up and down, day passes, and season passes for the summer lift. We recommend buying lift passes and booking activities like cycling online before you arrive!
