Do you want to stay in a pleasant courtyard environment?

We offer rental of brewery to people who are interested in outdoor adventures and who will spend their holiday in Norway
On Gabestad people have lived for centuries, if not thousands of years. We have historical relics in the garden and rural roads that are very old. The farm is not as large in area but has many buildings.

We have three horses, two Smålensgoos, chickens, a rooster, cats and a dog. Here is plenty of space and it is calm. In the area around the farm there are hiking trails, bike trails, forest, mushrooms and berries. It is close to Glomma - the longest river in Norway. We can help with maps.
We don't have a boat.

The farm is located ten minutes drive from Rakkestad, which is a village with shops, café, art gallery, rural, resistance museum etc. Otherwise we located near the cities of Mysen and Askim, Sarpsborg and Fredrikstad takes approximately half an hour to drive. From Oslo there are about 1 hour and ten minutes to us, Stockholm and Copenhagen are approximately 6 hours away.

We offer accommodation in pleasant courtyard environment with access to hiking trails, mountain bike path, art gallery / atelier, farm shop selling handicrafts and interior decoration, birdwatching, pure nature, clean air and beautiful surroundings. Suitable for families, friends or small groups, maximum 7 people.

Bryggerhuset is the oldest house on the farm, built ca. 1840 it is refurbished into cozy "summer standard."  Now it's nice to be able to use it as a rental or overnight accommodation for guests to the farm. Here is all the equipment you might need - including washing machine. No TV as of now, but the bookcase is full of books. There are 7 beds all in all, divided into two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room.

The house has all bed linen, duvets, pillows and towels and the kitchen is well equipped. Everything gets washed after every accommodation. We still want our guests tidying after themselves, and respects interior, outdoor areas and farm animals.

There is also the possibility for bicycles for adults and children.
