Accommodation in an old timber house from the last century.

Surtebakken is the cabin called which is ecently moved to the yard from somewhere else on the property. It is a house of history and soul. The timber walls and the style are preserved. The rooms are furnished with furniture from the family in the period 1900 to 1950.

Sleep  the old "shovel beds", have breakfast close the "black oven" in the old kitchen and relax in the bedroom. You can also have a fresh morning walk among local vegetables. Maybe you'll see a moose on vegetable hunting ...?

WC and shower, and kitchen with electric stove. microwaveoven and refrigerator. There are heating cables in all floors - Wireless internet is included.

Surtebakken is central to Romerike excursions. It is 20 minutes to the airport at Gardermoen and 40 minutes to Oslo, 45 minutes to Kongsvinger. You see us from the road, E16, two kilometers from Vormsund towards Kløfta. See posters by mailboxes.

Garden shop with vegetables and potatoes straight from the ground.

The family has grown up throughout the property in the period 1935-1960. There have been cow, pigs and hens. Today there are vegetables and potatoes. We call it "small  farm" and offer a good selection of all kinds of vegetables, rhubarb, rhubarb, jam and potatoes. Sometimes we pick up the vegetables while you are watching or doing it yourself. Our goal is to be able to deliver the goods straight from the ground for fresher they can not be. We sell mainly only own products, but also have sales for good friends and relatives: honey, eggs and "alvdal-mandel potato".

The principle is local and Norwegian.
