A sheltered south-west facing cabin surrounded by evergreen trees creating an intimate setting. Interior in a dark color scheme, restful like long winter nights.

For both cabins:

Floor to ceiling windows with black-out curtains, underfloor heating. Jensen king-size bed, kitchenette with 2-plate cook top, equipped with Ment high quality tableware, comfortable seating area. Bathroom with Rainshower, sink and WC.

New: enjoy your private forest hot tub for a small additional fee (NOK 500 per stay).

The space

The cabin is nestled away on the side of a mountain overlooking hills and valleys. A traditional mountain farm with restored buildings in red and white provides a homely backdrop for this sanctuary.

The cabin is 20 m from the parking space up a small path and a few steps. The road is cleared of snow all winter long. Good winter tires are recommended.

All seasons offer fantastic opportunities for outdoor adventures from hiking and mountain biking, kayaking and canoeing on crystal clear lakes, riding in the mountains with Icelandic horses, dog sledding and hiking with huskies. Combine with cultural explorations such as an exclusive tour at the Ment porcelain production, visiting the Lillehammer art museum, discovering open air museum Maihaugen or visiting the iconic Olympic ski jump. Or just enjoy your beautiful cabin and its surroundings!

Intimate Cabin, Infinite Views

Step into your light filled 21sqm cabin, a haven designed for unwinding. Its floor-to-ceiling windows frame ever-changing vistas— lush greenery in summer, pristine snow in winter. As you walk onto your private 25 qm deck, suspended above the ground, take in the panorama. Sip a drink, breathe in the fresh air, and let the view soothe your soul.

Outdoor Fireplace and Forest Exploration

Your private outdoor fireplace beckons—a place to grill food, listen to the crackling fire, and bask in the mirror cabin’s reflection. Venture beyond to explore our garden and forest, where hidden sitting areas await in between the trees. Here, tranquility reigns supreme.

Cocoon of Comfort

Three sides of the cabin feature floor-to-ceiling glass, seamlessly merging indoor and outdoor spaces. Light oak panels cocoon you in tranquility, allowing you to feel both snug and protected. The king-size bed by Jensen is more than a place to rest—it’s a sanctuary for rejuvenation. Wrap yourself in warmth with our Norsk Dun pillows and blankets. Whether you’re indoors or outside, a woolen blanket wards off evening chill, ensuring your comfort remains uninterrupted.

Culinary Adventures

The kitchenette, complete with a 2-plate cook top, refrigerator, and small freezer, invites culinary creativity. Brew your morning coffee, forage for berries in the nearby woods, and pair them with yogurt or ice cream for a wholesome treat. Our high-quality tableware from Ment—hand-crafted in various forms and colors—adds elegance to every meal.

Local Delicacies

For an authentic taste of the region, consider ordering one of our food boxes. They include fresh vegetables, eggs, sourdough bread, and refreshing juice. Depending on your preference, you can also savor locally sourced meats or cheeses. It’s a culinary journey that complements the natural wonders surrounding you.

Art and Culture

Guest artist Maria Natalie Skjeset has adorned the cabins with a beautiful work of art. The pictures reflect hope, light-filled days, peacefulness, and rest, adding a touch of inspiration to your stay. Additionally, you’ll find a selection of books by Norwegian and international writers, perfect for quiet moments of reflection. And don’t miss the art catalogs from Lillehammer Art Museum—they’re a visual feast for the soul. Our ÖÖD mirror cabins, placed on steel beams like sculptures, celebrate the union of architecture with the surrounding nature.

Wellness for Mind and Body

Our bathrooms feature a rain shower with views of sky and trees—simple pleasures that wash away stress. Our beauty amenities, crafted by the Norwegian brand RÅ, use natural ingredients to invigorate your senses. And for a gentle nudge toward vitality, explore our light sports training equipment—it’s an invitation to move, breathe, and thrive.

Our cabins are a smoke-free environment.
