Elvepromenaden

Drammen municipality received the award Green Park of the Year 2014 for the river parks. It is not without reason! Since its opening, the river promenade has long been a source of pride for the city.

The lift at Bybrua is also an important factor that helps to draw people to the promenade. This also makes the area attractive for people with prams, cyclists and people with poor legs. A number of seating sculptures have been placed along the promenade, as well as a number of exercise equipment for free use.

There is also a boulder wall by the motorway bridge. The river promenade is low to provide proximity and contact with the river for the city's inhabitants. The low jetty location also facilitates access for small boats wishing to dock.
