Set off from Tromsø and head into the darkness of the Arctic fjords in search of the Northern Lights. The route is decided according to the evening’s weather forecast, taking you towards the areas with the clearest skies. Depending on the conditions, the journey may head north towards Kvaløyvågen, south to Ramfjorden or west along the southern part of Kvaløya.
The captain and crew keep a close eye on the weather and look for clear skies or breaks in the cloud cover throughout the evening. While waiting for the Northern Lights to appear, you can relax and stay warm in the heated lounges, with drinks available from the café.
During the tour, the guides share their knowledge and personal stories about the Northern Lights. If the aurora appears, you can head outside to enjoy the view from the deck, and the guides can also help you take photos during the experience.
On the return journey to Tromsø, you can enjoy views of the city skyline and the Arctic Cathedral from the water.
