Coop Ottadalen was established in October 1998 following a merger between five cooperative societies in Ottadalen. The societies that merged were Bruvoll Handelslag, Nordberg Samvirkelag, Skjåk Samvirkelag, Vågå Samvirkelag, and Lom Koop handelslag. Today, the company has stores in the municipalities of Skjåk, Lom, and Vågå, consisting of 1 Extra, 1 Coop Mega, 4 Coop Marked, 1 Coop Byggmix, 2 Power, and Bergom Klær Sko Sport.
