Borrevannshyttene

The Borrevann cabins are idyllically located along the Borrevannet at Horten. Borrevannet Nature Reserve is a bird sanctuary with 254 registered species, including anglers. Borrevannet is also one of Norway's most famous pike waters, with a record of 18 kg. At the cottages there is a rich wildlife with beaver, deer, squirrels and moors.

Borrevann Cabins are 5 minutes by bike from Løvøya and Oslofjorden, there are great beaches with fast food and a café. It's only 8 minutes by car to Horten.

Borre Water cabin - from NOK 1.750,-
Borrevannshytta is 50 meters from Borrevannet Nature Reserve and you can drive all the way to the cabin with a large parkingspot. Newly restored cottage with all facilities for rent, whether you want to go fishing, swimming, go hiking, cycling, or just simply relax in tranquil surroundings. Borre golf course is 10 minutes away by car. In the winter you can go ice fishing. There are ridden ski slopes right by the cabin, and 300 meters away lies the slope in Hortens marka.

80 squaremeter large cottage with large terrace facing the water. 3 bedrooms, and 11 sleeping places. All modern amenities, Dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, fireplace, barbecue area against the water with gapahuk, canoe and boat included. 6 life jackets in the cabin. Wifi is free. Pillows and quilts for 11 beds. Linens must be taken with or ordered in advance. Do not bring pets or smoke inside. The cabin is completely sheltered for all noise. From the covered large terrace you can enjoy the tranquility and look beyond Borrevannet. Just outside the cabin are good hiking paths along the water, where you also enter a nature trail.

The ranger cabin - from NOK 2.250,-
The lodge is located 70 meters from Borrevannet Nature Reserve, with large covered terrace facing the lake and you can drive all the way to the cabin with a large parkingspot. Skogvokterhytta was set up in 2015 with timber from its own forest. Here only special woods like oak, birch, osp, ash and blacks are used, as well as wilderness clothing of malmfuru. The cabin is wheelchair accessible. The cottage has about 100 squaremeters of ground floor, with large terraces and 40 squaremeters loft. All modern amenities. Dishwasher, washing machine, fireplace, and wifi, 3 bedrooms, as well as large loft with double glazed. Sleeping places for up to 14 people. Pillows and quilts for 14 beds. Linens must be taken with or ordered in advance. Do not bring pets or smoke inside.

Pike fishing
Borrevannet is a nutritious water, which is one of the reasons for the stock of large fish. Freshwater fishing of both pike and perch is very popular. It is possible to fish from holmer many places by the cabin, otherwise it is most beneficial by boat. Borrevannet nature reserve is about 2 squaremeters of water with 9 different fish species. The pike stock in the water is very good and often catches over 1 meter. The record is 18 kg. The perch stock is also very good with the possibility of fish over 2 kg.
