Glacier hike 2,5 km uphill to an amazing ice cave. This cave is worth every step to get there. The hike itself is a senic route between steep mountains.
We walk half an hour from Longyearbyen and up to the foot of the glacier. Here, we go in under the glacier and follow the meltwater channel through the moraine. Under tons of ice and snow, we are surrounded by an underground adventure landscape consisting of ice and rock formations created by nature itself. On the way home, we have beautiful views of the Longyear valley with the majestic Hiort mountain in the background. The tour does not require much physical exertion, but not suitable for people with claustrophobia or bad back / knees
