For over 400 years, people have lived and worked at Bærum Verk. The original ironworks from 1610 is an experience in itself, located in a rare beautiful area in an authentic industrial history setting.

Along with the warehouse has Bærums Verk gained a unique trading center along with history and sculptures. Welcome to a historical trade at Bærum Verk. A large part of the offer is not found anywhere else than at Bærum Verk.
At Bærums works you will find the country's largest sculpture park that shows the breadth of Norwegian sculptors.
Every year a new sculpture is added to the collection. Free entry. A map and description of the various sculptures is available on site.
Bærums Verk has received several awards, f.ex the Construction Prize in 1988 and the ICSC International Prize for New Thinking in the Development of Shopping Centers in 1998. In 2002, we also received Olavsrosa, which is awarded by the Norwegian Heritage. This is a trademark of adventure offers based on the Norwegian cultural heritage.
Bærum Verk is located at the entrance to Lommedalen, not far from Sandvika.

If you want to get an insight into the history of the work and a walk in the oven museum in addition to experience the area, the shops, the workshops and the galleries, please visit the information office, tel. 67 13 00 18. We offer historical guiding with duration for approx. 1 hour, which includes hiking through the area, entrance to the oven museum and stops along the way.
Price kr: 1500, - for groups up to 30 people. The price includes tickets for the oven museum.
