Arctic Whale and Wildlife Safari - Arctic Whale Tours

  •  /  km From You

Join us on a trip into the fjords surrounding Tromsø.

Whales first! We are the oldest operating whale watching company with guidelines in Norway. We are never in a hurry during our 10-12h long trips and you will be accompanied by our experienced crew. Our two captains have decades of experience and our guides provide you with knowledge about whales and the marine ecosystems.

We would like to welcome you on board of our ship, Blasius II, a catamaran providing indoor seating for 65 guests. We depart at 9am in the morning, coffee, tea and hot chocolate are available to you during the entire trip.

In our search for whales we also collaborate with scientists, local fishermen and other companies. When we encounter whales, we always take the necessary precautions while ensuring, that everyone has the opportunity to see these beautiful animals. On our way back you have the choice of a fish soup made from local ingredients or a vegan vegetable soup including locally grown herbs. If we do not encounter any cetaceans, you are welcome to join us a second time for free, may it be winter or summer, this year or next year.

So bring you warm clothes and camera and join us in the search for marine mammals! We do not aim to show you just the whales but rather leave you with an understanding of the unique marine ecosystem surrounding Tromsø.
