Say hello to the animals at The Funny Farm.
At The Funny Farm visiting farm, you can meet lots of wonderful animals.
The farm is called The Funny Farm because visitors are meant to have fun when they come. The Funny Farm is located in Hobøl, about a 40-minute drive from Oslo.
At The Funny Farm, animal welfare is a top priority. That’s why most of the animals roam freely among visitors, with plenty of space to play. The animals are trusting and affectionate and enjoy close contact with people. Many of the animals are very tame. Here you can meet, among others, lama, alpacka, donkey, minipig, sheep and goats.
Canoe and Tractor
If you’d like, you can borrow a canoe and explore the Hobøl River, just like the Dahl brothers did. Or you can take a ride on “The Funny Ride,” a small tractor with a trailer that takes the kids on a tour of the farmyard. Both canoe rentals and tractor rides are included in the price.
Authentic American diner
The café at The Funny Farm is truly one of a kind, decorated like a 1950s diner and themed according to the seasons. The café is open during open farm hours. Here you can buy hot dogs, freshly made waffles, cakes, cotton candy, slushies, and ice cream, among other things.
Farm stay with animal care.
