Northern Lights Dinner Cruise

This tour is operated by Hermes II.

Join a three-hour evening cruise from Tromsø. On board the restored wooden boat Hermes II, you can enjoy the views from the deck, relax in the heated indoor saloons and hear the story of the boat and its role along the Northern Norwegian coast.

On clear evenings, the Northern Lights may appear above the mountains and fjords. As the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, sightings cannot be guaranteed. Even on cloudy evenings, the cruise offers an opportunity to experience the Arctic night from the sea.

During the cruise, you will be served a three-course meal from the local fishmonger Dragøy. The meal consists of a warm fish cake as a starter, creamy fish soup as the main course and lefse for dessert. Coffee, tea and toddy are included. Snacks and soft drinks can be purchased on board.

The boat has heated indoor saloons and two guest toilets. Thermal suits and blankets are also available.

Food and drinks: A three-course meal consisting of a warm fish cake, creamy fish soup and lefse is included. Coffee, tea and toddy are also included. Snacks and soft drinks can be purchased on board. Guests may not bring their own food or drinks. Exceptions may be made for young children and guests with allergies.

Please bring: Warm clothing, a warm hat, scarf, mittens and warm footwear

Meeting time and place: No later than 15 minutes before departure, directly beside the boat at pier 12 on the seaward side of Kystens Hus, Stortorget 1. The boat is called Hermes II.
