Hydlaparken

Hydlaparken Climbing Park is surrounded by mountains and spectacular nature, located 300 metres above sea level in Stryn – just a nine-minute drive from the town centre. The park offers a varied and family-friendly range of activities, with challenges suited for both children and adults. There is joy and a sense of achievement for visitors of all ages and group compositions.

The youngest visitors can explore the MiniHydla playground, while those who are at least 80 cm tall can try the climbing courses of varying difficulty and zip lines that provide both a rush of adrenaline and the feeling of flying. For the bravest adventurers, Hydlaspranget awaits – a jump from a height of 12 metres, offering a few seconds of free fall before a safe landing on the ground, guaranteed to bring a big smile.

The newest attraction in the climbing park is Hydlasvevet – a 150-metre-long zip line that offers a high and airy glide across the area. In total, Hydlaparken currently features 8 climbing courses with 12 zip lines, in addition to challenging climbing walls.

The surrounding area offers well-maintained walking trails, as well as a pump track for cycling, kick scooters, rollerblading, and skateboarding (all use is at your own risk). A visit to the climbing park can easily be combined with a walk or other outdoor activities in the area. The kiosk offers ice cream, soft drinks, slush, hot chocolate, coffee, and often delicious waffles served with jam and sour cream.

Hydlaparken is mainly open on weekends and during school holidays. Individuals, families, and groups are all welcome, and guests are encouraged to book tickets online in advance.
