Diese Gletscherwanderung findet in den Lyngenalpen statt und führt hinauf zu einem der vielen Gletscher. Sie benötigen keine Erfahrung im Gletscherwandern, aber ausreichend Kondition für eine 14 km Wanderung.
We start with a 2-3 hour hike up the Steindalen valley. The trails follows the river, that comes from the glacier. When we reach the glacier, we get an safety introduction and we learn how to use crampons, ice axes and how to go in a rope team.
Then we will do a walk on the glacier.
Back from the glacier, we will have a lunch before we head back to the fjord. During this exciting tour, you will gain an insight into the fascinating Sami and Kven cultures, and the area´s unique geology.
The tempo and routes will be adjusted according to youre previous skills and fitness. However to participate on a hiking trip of this length you must be in good physical condition.
