Das Restaurant ist für seine schmackhaften Fisch- und Wildgerichte aus guter Küche bekannt, aber auch für das traditionelle vorweihnachtliche norwegische Gericht "Lutefisk" (Gewässerter und gelaugter Trockenfisch mit Beilagen).

Das Lokal passt sowohl für formelle als auch unformelle Anlässe. Gamle Raadhus Restaurant hat einen reizvollen Hinterhof, wo im Sommer auch draußen serviert wird.
