Evening Snowmobile Excursion in the Skibotn Valley

This tour is conducted by Activenorth. We start with instructions on how to drive the snowmobile before heading out on a trail that goes through forest and across open landscapes. Two people share each snowmobile, and we will switch drivers during the trip. We will take photos during our stops, and the guide will always try to find the best spots for great pictures.

Season:
15 December – 15 April (depending on snow conditions)

Included: English-speaking guide, winter overall suit, boots, mittens and hat, hot soup with bread, coffee and tea, transfer from Tromsø
Please bring: Wool underwear
Number of participants: Min. 2 – Max. 18
Level of difficulty: Medium
Departure time and place: Meet at 17:15 outside Scandic Ishavshotel. The bus leaves at 17:30. Look for a bus going in the direction of Skibotn/Hatteng. Return to Tromsø approx. 01:00.
Duration: 3.5 hr at the camp (preparations, instructions, 1 hr 30 min snowmobiling, snack and relaxing at the camp) + transfer approx. 2 hours each way

You must have a valid driver’s licence with you to participate in the activity. Any licence is accepted. If you don’t have a licence, you will join the trip as a passenger.
