Welcome to an unforgettable stay in the tree top. Himmelhøy ("Sky high") is located only 30 minutes north of Namsos. Here you can live airy in Konglehytta, close to nature.

Konglehytta Treehouse

In the treehouse you live up in the tree trunks with the little birds and squirrels. On the loft you can sleep under the skylights and look up in the sky through the trees. The wooden cabin is attached to pine trees and solidly anchored, so you are safe in all weather. When it's blowing you can feel it doves gently, but the movements are much less than a boat at sea.

Tretopphytta has accommodation for 6 (7). A bedroom with a double bed and a sleeping loft with 4 sleeping places. In addition, one can sleep on the sofa. Beds made and towels are included in the rent.

The cabin has a bathroom with biodo, electricity (12v) and water from the tank in the cabin. The kitchen is equipped with what you need for cooking and has gas cooker and gas fridge. Outside the porch there are tables and benches to sit on and the bonfire for bonfires and barbecues.

Great hiking area - take a canoe trip!

Included in the rent is a canoe and rowing boat loan. It is free to fish in the waters around the treehouse cottage for guests, and several nice hiking trails in the area.

The treehouse is on the national cycling route / Eurovelo 1

If you are on a road between Namsos and Kolvereid on a cycling trip along Kystriksveien or a national route, get a unique threehouse experience on your trip. Himmelhøy is only 29 km north of Namsos, and not far from the island of Jøa, where one can combine cycling with fast boat via Abelvær and Rørvik. Read more about the cycle routes here.
