Svartlamon's own Twin Serpent are releasing their long-awaited second album. To mark the occasion, they are bringing the eminent Healthy Choices and Ben Atkins to the Lobby for an evening of cheers and shouts and riding the night away until the sky is clear!

Wednesday, May 13th! Doors open 8:00 PM - concert starts 9:00 PM - age limit 18 years.

Twin Serpent: With a country approach and the energy of punk, this noisy but sweet outsider band manages to blur genre boundaries. Inspired by bands like The Taxpayers and 16 Horsepower, the quartet delivers songs about love, betrayal, defiance and resistance. The dynamics vary from acoustic to amp wall with multi-part vocal harmonies, quirky guitar solos and distorted banjo. With members from Barren Womb, Probleman and Lucky Malice, this crust country band uses lo-fi black metal aesthetics without having to bathe in blood. Add a touch of folk music and the listener is taken on a journey away from the healthy polished and studied everyday life.

With album two on the way and a bunch of sold-out concerts in their hometown of Trondheim, the band is delighted to spread their cosmic gospel to the people! Twin Serpent drives hard with an “in your face attitude” and is just as suitable for a barn party as a punk festival.

Healthy Choices: With bangles and a rubber duck, Healthy Choices floats contentedly around in the wave pool of post-punk. Inspired by bands like Pissed Jeans, Viagra Boys, and Single Mothers, they talk about adult themes interspersed with some childishness to alleviate the worst seriousness.

Native Texan Ben Atkins (The Atkins Tent Revival) has spent years wowing audiences with his nuclear vocals and his unique story-telling Americana-fusion. Since relocating to Trondheim (2022) he has firmly established himself in the local scene by preaching the Gospel of Good Times.
