Tripp Trapp Triathlon

21. August 09:00-20:00

Take on Tripp Trapp Triathlon, a spectacular endurance challenge in the Lysefjord combining kayaking, the Flørli Steps, mountain running and cycling.

Tripp Trapp Triathlon combines four demanding stages in the spectacular landscape around Lysefjord. Participants kayak around 25 kilometres along the fjord, climb the 4,444 steps of the famous Flørli Steps, continue with approximately 12 kilometres of mountain running and finish with a cycling stage of around 30 kilometres. The event starts in the Lysefjord area at Oanes. The kayaking stage takes participants along the Lysefjord to Flørli, before tackling the famous wooden staircase up the mountainside. From the top, the route continues through the mountains towards Vinddalen, followed by the cycling stage back towards the starting point.

Navigation and independent route choices are part of the mountain section. Participants therefore need to be physically fit, experienced and capable of travelling independently through varied mountain terrain.

Organised by the Stavanger Trekking Association, Tripp Trapp Triathlon offers an unusual endurance challenge combining fjord, mountains and outdoor adventure in one event.

Tripp Trapp Triathlon takes place on 21 August 2027. Practical information, start times and further details will be published by the organisers.
